Originally from Hungary, Geo Dusnoki aka GÆO is a Copenhagen based electronic music producer, live-act and DJ, best known for his melodically driven, intimate and euphoric sets. While both his own music and his selections are emotionally expressive, they are also explorative and versatile, with a genre-crossing nature, making him a refreshing and exciting performer to witness. Educated as a sound engineer and producer at The Royal Danish Academy of Music, he has worked with various genres, including classical, pop, jazz, and world music, allowing him to develop a technical and artistic sense for his own productions of electronic music.
Influenced by his background as a post-rock guitarist and previous work within the ambient and neo-classical realm, his music has a harmonic and emotive character – largely inspired by artists like Sigur Rós, Nils Frahm, Kiasmos and Jon Hopkins. While also a remix artist for international acts, he has gained recognition playing DJ and live sets, and – as former member of CPH DEEP – became a key figure shaping the Danish electronic music scene. Throughout the past 4 years he has been a regular performer across Copenhagen, playing headliner sets as well as supporting artists like Rival Consoles, Extrawelt, Kollektiv Turmstrasse and Fejká.
